Thimphu-Paro-Wangduephodrang-Punakha-Bhumthang Tour [10 Days / 9 Nights]

Day 01

Delhi (India) / Onward Destination - Paro International Airport - Thimphu 

Fly to Bhutan and during the flight one will experience the breathtaking views of Mt.Everest ,Kanchenjunga and other Majestic Himalayan peaks including the sacred Mount Chomolhari and Jitchu Drake in Bhutan .On arrival at Paro international airport (7218 Ft.) you will be received by our professional representative by a traditional welcome. And Proceed for Thimphu (7875Ft. /55km / 2 hours), the most unusual capital city in the world. Check in at Premium Hotel in Thimphu. Evening free for relaxes. Night Halt at Thimphu.  

Day 02

Thimphu Sightseeing Tour 

After Breakfast Visit Tashichhodzong, the main secretariat building which houses the throne room of his Majesty, the King and also the summer residence Je Khenpo (Chief Abbot) as well as the central monk body. Visit Pangri Zampa Monastery, situated just beyond Dechencholing Palace (5 km from thimphu),this temple was the first residence of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal when he arrived in Bhutan in 1616 A.D. ,this is the great ancestor of the Shabdrung.Visit National Library for extensive collection of Buddhist literature .Visit Zorig Chusum (commonly known as printing school for traditional art & crafts of Bhutan).Visit National Institute of Traditional Medicine(out side only) .Proceed for National Memorial Chorten, a huge stupa built in memory of the third King who reigned from 1952-1972. Visit Handicraft Emporiam and craft shope also visit Folk Heritage & National Textile Museum. Night halt at Thimphu.  

Day 03

Whole day at Thimphu sight seen at thimphu.  

Day 04

Thimphu - Wangduephodrang - Punakha 

After breakfast drive over Dochu-la-pass (10,130ft.) to Punakha, The capital of Royal Bhutan till 1955. Visit Wangduephodrang, situated on a ridge overlooking a river junction .Wangduphodrang Today is the farewell day of your magnificent tour so do spare few minute of your valuable time and write to tell us how much you enjoyed the tour Dzong is the town’s most visible feature. In the 17th.century wangdue played a critical role in unifying the western, central andsouthern regions of the country. Over night stay in Punakha.  

Day 05

Punakha – Bum thang 

After breakfast embark for Bumthang (14,765 ft / 7 hour),The religious heartland of the nation..Bumthang is the general name given to a group of four valleys Chumey , Choekhor , Tang and Ura .All the valleys altitudes varying from 8,840 ft upto 13,600 ft. Check in at hotel.Over night halt at hotel in Bumthang.  

Day 06

Bumthang Sightseeing 

Visit historical Jakar Dzong, built in 1646 A.D. by Minjur Tenpa, the third Druk Desi (Temporal rular), In 1683 it was extended by Gyalse Tenzing Rabgay, the Fourth Desi. Visit several ancient and sacred monasteries such as the Jambay Lhakhang, which was created in 7 th. Century , Kurjey Lhakhang , one of the most sacrad places in Bhutan as Guru Rinpoche meditated here.Kencho Sum Lhakhang and Pema Samba Lhakhangs.Later proceed for Member Tso “The Flaming Lake”,which considerd one of the most important pilgrimage spots.A trip to Bumthang Swiss farm is also interesting .Over night halt in hotel of Bumthang.  Day 07Bumthang – Punakha : Today after breakfast proceed for punakha .Get ready for 7 hours journey and night stay at punakha.  

Day 08

Punakha – Paro 

After breakfast Visit Punakha Dzong, Still the houses of many sacred and historic artifacts and also the embalmed body of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgayl and proceed for Paro and en route visit Simtokha Dzong, which is built in 1627 and is the oldest in Bhutan and now as known the institute for language and Cultural studies. On arrival at Paro check in into the premium hotel in Paro Valley. Evening free for paro city where you will get a opportunity to find out some unique Bhutanese Handicraft in the local shope.Night halt in Paro  

Day 09

Paro Sightseeing Tour

The valley of Paro contains a wealth of attractions. After the break fast proceed for the valley to get a view of the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong (18 km),which holds great historical significance also visit Kyichu Lhakhang ,one of the oldest and most sacred shrines of the Royal Kingdom. Visit Ta Dzong; once a watchtower built to defend Rinpung Dzong during inter valley war of the 17th. Century, which was inaugurated as Bhutan’s national museum in 1968. Visit Rinpung Dzong .A flagstone path rises gradually from a wonderful wooden bridge with shingle roofing and abutted by two guard houses, to the dzong.Today, The Dzong is the seat of district administration as well as the home for the monastic school. Also know its incredible history.Over night stay in Paro.  

Day 10

Paro – Delhi/Onward Destination

Today is the farewell day of your magnificent tour so do spare few minute of your valuable time and write to tell us how much you enjoyed the tour .After break fast with many wonderful memories embark for Paro international Airport (10 km/30 mins) for Delhi (India) / Onward Destination.
